Guardians of the Galaxy Chris Pratt Star-Lord Costume Build (pic heavy)

I'm working on a Chris Pratt Star-Lord costume from the upcoming movie Guardians of the Galaxy. So far I have a list of what the costume consists of but I can only locate a few of the items and some I need help finding.
Here is what I have on my list:

-Sony MDR 5a Stereo Headphones

-Sony TPS-L2 Walkman from 1979

-Jacket
Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_leather_Jacket__71989_zoom.jpg I will have to have this custom made

- Pants
Chris prat costume.jpeg I have no idea where to find them or how to make them.

-Guns & Helmet

-Boots

Chris-Pratt-of-Guardians-of-the-Galaxy_gallery_primary.jpg In all the pictures I have found it seems like he is wearing a different t-shirt. I've seen dark blue, black, and dark grey (as seen in this picture)

If you guys have anything to contribute it would be appreciated.

You could make the Walkman pepakura style?
Make a paper craft of it then print it out.
From a distance it would look just like the original walk man.
If you want it to kinda work you could stick an mp3 player inside.
 
Dude I want the jacket and the mask too! Is fjackets a trusted site?

Can you put me in touch with the guy whose made the masks? $?

Not sure about Fjackets, was hoping someone here had previous experience. When I order the jacket (if i get it from them) i will put my opinion here.

Might be best to wait now that I think about because if enough interest is shown then one will be released. Plus it is showing as 'on sale'...why would something that just been released be on sale if they wernt trying desperately to get people to buy it.

That was a concern of mine as well, that and most of the pictures on the site are shots from the films themselves and not of the jacket itself.
 
id go the route of fiding someone who makes jackets and have one custom for you rather than that... i dont think were gonna see official clothing for this for a few months
 
I emailed this place:

...and they mentioned they can make this coat without the brown straps through the coat, and even sell the coat on its own. It seems to be made of that cheaper fake leather, but the price seems ok. A little modifying and tweaking may make it look pretty good. For the costume I prefer the long coat from Duokings, but for just general use, I like the one from Fan Jackets.
 
I'm also debating whether to put together a Star Lord costume for Halloween. The jacket and pants are really what I'd like to find, the rest I'll probably just buy the cheap Disguise mask and pistols when they come out. Are the pants a deep navy blue? Hard to tell from the screen grabs.

The jacket from Film Jackets doesn't look like an exact match, for that price I'd rather get it more accurate.

By what I can tell Star-lord has two or three jackets and two pants. in some grabs and the trailer (when they are in the police line up) he is wearing what seems to be a deep navy blue pants, but when walking with the group through a hall way he is wearing pants that match the jacket ( i would assume the change is for a flight suit of some sort).
The jacket changes in the trailer and grabs going from the jacket i'm looking for (police line up jacket) to a trench coat(may be same jacket with an extension), and finally a flight suit he is wearing when piloting a ship in the trailer.
 
Hey, I was doing the same thing and saw your post. I actually ordered a coat from fjackets and it just came today. I'm very happy with it. Real leather, nice fit and completely comfortable.
Just an FYI, I've been doing costumes for about 10 years, so I'm no newbie. Just thought that might help with your decision.

Below are pics of my "budget helmet". I'd like to spend more on it, but I'm waiting to see if the movie does well enough to pump in more money.
The light for the eyes are $1.00 party bracelets from Walmart in the kids section.

Well I found a tailor to make me the jacket from the pictures I have, now I just have to wait for it to be finished. I'll post pics as soon as i get the jacket.
