Just thought I'd throw this out there... took a break from my Iron Man MK4 cardboard build, so my son saw a gap to ask for a Captain America shield...
Cardboard base:
Two coats resin:
Fibreglass:
Another layer of cardboard for depth:
Some more resin:
Body Filler and sanding:
Primer and base coat:
Paint:
Was a little too eager to get the masking tape off... so some of the red came off with it, will do some battle damage to it rather than repaint.
