So after finally building my aluminum Captain America shield that I have always wanted to build, I was stuck on how to display it. I knew I wanted to mount it on the wall but wasn't sure how. So I decided to stick with the WW2 theme and create an ammo box type display like they would have had back then. I looked online at old WW2 ammo boxes and did my best to replicate the look and below is what I came up with. Only cost me maybe $30 to build. I thought it would be cool to stencil in some things on the sides like old ammo boxes had in WW2 to tell you what was inside the box. So I stenciled " Combat Shield" "CA-1 Spec" "US Gov" "Stark Ind" on the side, and on the top I stenciled "Capt Rogers". Hopefully this gives someone some ideas on how to display their shield!
