Great work. The screen printing makes all the difference in the world.
One note. Your bricks are rectangular. The movie suit appears to have a "bloated brick" look.

If you want the file for these, shoot me a pm and I can get it to you. Other than that it really looks nice... very nice.

Wow, that's extremelly close up, great shot of the webshooters too :thumbsup

It is. But am I the only one who notices that the brick pattern might be slowly disappearing when it gets to the hand? Or could it just be the lighting of this pic? :confused

You spot well good sir. My samples have all done the same thing. The trick is is that if you notice the suit is more of a "fitted" garment and not a tight/figure hugging "bodysuit... This solves the cracking of the print under great stretch as the ink can in no way stretch to the length.
Also, notice the seams on the wrists, the webs are caught in them Agee times... Thinking that the webs are screen printed on now too... Trying my hand at that too! Watch this space.
;-p

Huuum, I see what you are saying... Guess I'm the only one spotting the disintegration of the print on the too of the ass seam :-/ lol

Ah! That makes sense. And yeah,I see what you mean with the wrist seams. Love to see how you tackle those screen printed webs!

Oh my gosh, I wish I had this fabric to stitch my next spiderman costume from. Puff paint is kinda awful, especially compared to this. Great job.

photo 1 (3).JPGphoto 2.jpgphoto 2 (3).JPGlatest look for the blue fabric to help you crazy kids become Spidey... junkyard still going in time for the movie release.

Yes, same red fabric... for now. i have samples being shipped from all around the world so until anything else shows up I'm happy with this!

That's a shame, I probably would have placed an order if you'd switched to the dark red fabric from MrBibou's build. As for the stretching issues with the ink, have you thought to use a stretch additive with high-density poly inks? That's likely what was done on the film suits so that the ink could stretch with the fabric.

New blue and ink color looks great, by the way! Have you thought about taking kenlandrum up on his offer to send you the file to use the more 'bloated' brick pattern, instead of the straight rectangular bricks you've got?

do you really think you'll be able to send orders out in time for the movie premiere? If so, that would be wonderful!

Totally tried to buy that fabric MrBibous used but it would only let me order 2.7 meters of the stuff :-(
Totally on with what your saying in regards to the ink, already on it. i use a 'stretch additive' to allow the ink more flexibility and altho it has in no way the same properties as lycra, it does help.
As for Kenlandrums offer, i totally missed that. looking back now... however when the blue fabric is pulled around the body the "bloated'' look is seen and achieved.

Thats a shame :( but i feel like the red you have will work with the darker blue still once we see it all together

Hey guys sorry if this is wrong but in new to this wonderful community and screen printing but I was wondering of you (oracle1982) could take kenaladrums file and screen print the webs or if you could just use his colors? Thanks!

It would be unethical for me to use someone else's files and hard work to then charge what I do. I am working on my ow webs at the moment however.
