Hey guys,

I'm working for a free 3D design sharing platform called Myminifactory.com and a few props for a StarLord cosplay have been uploaded on the website:

I built the helmet from that site. It's very inaccurate but surprisingly works very well for a kid. At the time of the build more accurate helmets were not available. The file printed without any issues. I did end up re-sculpting the chin because it was just too wrong. I also had to resculpt the entire side to fit the kids head. I really like the site, I hope it continues to grow.

Did you have to scale down the helmet to fit a kid's head?

Actually the model was pretty small IIRC, I had to scale it up. It was no big deal, just took a few measurements.

the triangle magnetic thingy.......the one at the beginning of the movie when he steals the orb....

I was just thinking about that part and wishing that I had one!



It is the part under the infinity orb. It has 3 triangle sections all attached to a middle triangle. The triangles on the sides fold up on the hinges.

As a reference, I think the orb is around 4" in diameter.
