Hello! I'm new here, I'm writing here to ask for an opinion and some advices. I'm trying to create an armor from "man of steel" movie. I chose Faora. These are some parts of the costume, not yet colored. I used a thermoplastic material, similar to sintra. I can not paint it well, because when the paint is dry, crack and flake. I used the spray base (white) , then I applied the gray metallic spray. How do I get a uniform color that will not crack? Thank you all. I hope you can help me!

Looks pretty good. I've had good luck just using acrylic spray paint. I've used it on flexible rubber and it bent along with it just fine and stuck to it well with no flaking.

You might need a better primer. I used the Thermoplastic called "Worbla". The primer I used was the rustoleum filler primer. You can also use a high quality wood glue like Titebond or Gorilla to make it smooth. FYI do not use Elmer's wood glue. It will crack and flake off.
