The Definitive CW Arrow Thread

Any idea on the material for the quiver is?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from the shots I've seen and from what I can see from actually watching the show, the quiver has a half-moon shape to it, correct?

I noticed someone mentioned use Carbon Express arrow shafts. Has anybody identified the exact model?

They could be almost any carbon shaft. Its almost impossible to determine the exact ones because they are plain black. Sometimes they have a wrap that says the brand and other info. They used Easton nocks so more than likely they are an Easton carbon shaft.

I'm working on my quiver right now, these are the photos I've been using for reference. (in addition to the pics already posted on this thread).

Great shots, especially interesting to note that in the last shot there is no sinew on the bow, and in fact the hinge piece appears to be held on with a slot-head countersunk screw in the middle, also good to see him resting the arrow on the hinge piece

Yeah it's odd that the stunt bows were not all the same. On the reverse side the glyphs run the entire section as well. As far as I know the hinge has always been the arrow rest.

What makes you say not leather?

A couple things. First it has a defined half circle shape. Which makes me believe that it must have a hard body. Next the fabric doesn't look smooth like leather does and in the pic I posted you can see that and it's somewhat fraying on the bottom which leather doesn't do. To keep its shape when running, flipping and jumping off buildings it would have to be a hard body and have foam on the bottom to stick the arrows into so they don't rattle and fall out. They might have used a plastic such as plexiglass for the body then covered it in fabric.
