Deathstroke Origins Pictures

This is the first time I've had the costume on, so I thought I would take some pics and put them on the RPF. Deathstroke and the Deathstroke Mobile (Elvira). I made the entire costume. Thanks to Snakepit Studios for the helmet, which I reconfigured a bit. I covered the armor with Wonderflex because it looks like Kevlar.

Nice!

That is a sharp look. I like that you went with the lighter blue, it makes the detailing pop a lot more. Not that a mostly-black-and-orange Deathstroke is bad, but being able to easily see the detail and effort that went into a costume is always something I like. Well done!

Thanks, the poster, and figure I have are a bluish gray. That blue is the closest I could get to that color. The costume is fairly comfortable, but I would not want to have to move around quickly in it.

Awesome build! Here's my son's Arkham Deathstroke we did for Chicago's Wizard World. I used leather dyes over EVA foam. I was able to play with the colors instead of using spray paint and it held up pretty well.8-23-2014 053.JPG8-23-2014 081.JPG
For the carbon fiber texture I sprayed a very light coat white plastidip through a window screen.

Excellent work sir, it is great that your son has a cool dad that makes this kind of stuff for him. Chicago Wizard World must have been great, we went to Philly in June. The screen idea is a good one to simulate kevlar. I used screen on the closed side of the helmet, and cut a small eyehole so I could see better. It hides my eye completely.
