Hey Guys, i know a lot of people look to buy a Batman DOJ cowl... i decided to build mine. i'm at the beginning of the project... The mask will be in foam latex ''Smooth on''

Smooth On don't make foam latex, did you mean urethane foam? Good start though, keep at it.

• FlexFoam-iT!® 17 - 1A:2B by volume - app. 3.5X expansion
• FlexFoam-iT!® III - 1A:2B by volume - app. 18X expansion

Yes, just as TheKingaSwing said, that's not foam latex... that is polyurethane foam... very different. One requires a silicone mold, whereas the other requires a stone mold.

a friend of mine.... do all that... do FX makeup for a lot of MOVIES and TV Serie... like Human Beign US version... Death Race... he do the mask! i made the sculpture!!

That still doesn't make urethane foam and foam latex the same thing lol

You can use foam latex in a silicone mould for seamless pieces but it is very different from urethane foam that Smooth On sells. And you'd need a core to make a cowl from either one. Silicone mould and urethane rubber or a plaster mould and latex work best for cowls.

Hi Guys... update on my DOJ Cowl.... i'm not satisfied of my ears... i really hate do that part... i try 2 different style... and position... tell me which you like the most... left or right... i'm really open to your comment!! french or English!!!
