Batman New 52 help

Hello fellow rpf members !

Been a while since I've been on the forum, university and work taking up all my time ...
I finished my Deathstroke costume for Montreal Comic-Con and will be posting images soon, maybe

Now that it's over with, my next project is New 52 Batman, as you can see I already have the cowl



For the boots I planning to get the Gotham 100 boots and modifying them


however, what I'm stuck on is the suit itself ...
Most people go with a skin suit from Snakepit, but I was thinking making it have an armor look, Origins style, but New 52 design.



Sort of like that, part fabric part plastic, but I honestly have no idea how to do this.

So I was hoping maybe someone could point to a tutorial, or give some advice. I'm all ears for any suggestions for alternative ways to make the suit

Also, anyone know where I can get a New 52 gauntlet/bracer pep file or pattern ? I'm tempted to commission a pair, but I'd prefer to make it
