This custom designed liner is the perfect way to complete your Rocketeer helmet. The unique design will make your Rocketeer helmet comfortable to wear and look finished on the inside.

  • Designed to look period-correct and authentically handmade.
  • Constructed of quality brown quilting with a padded layer of polyester.
  • Edges are sewn with heavy-duty seams.
  • Comes ready to install with Velcro mounts. Holds the liner strong but can be remove if needed or to wash it.
  • Two 5/8” wide, belt-grade leather straps are attached to the liner with four heavy-duty brass snaps and feature accurate chin snaps.

Just got Valor's helmet liner in the mail. It's beautiful. If you are doing the Rocketeer just go ahead and order one. You won't regret it.
 
Anybody has some tips to keep the velcro stick to the helmet? The glue on the strips itself is not strong enough to stick, it seems. Tried powerglue now. The strips are glued on and drying. If this doesn't work, I guess I'll go for hot glue or JB weld. In that case, I'll also use quite some bigger / wider velcro strips, so I have some freedom in positioning the liner ;-)...

Might want to sand or strip the paint where the Velcro attaches. New Velcro will help too. Hardware stores usually have industrial strength stuff too.
