Dredd lawgiver comic version

I didnt had a thread of this, but since now we have a dredd group, i felt like start to work on it again, im building it from scratch based on a pic i found on the net that i liked

Here we go
The reference pic

How i started, with a sketch

Then cardboard template, ilearned that one from stealth

That paste was resin jelly
Then on to the body filler(bondo)

After some sanding

Compared to my glock 17

Update
Its been a long time
Manage to do the magazine detal in styrene, and the little eagle
Im gonna do some details in super sculpey so then i can smooth it out to mold it sometime next week, let me know what you think

Looks sweet! Now just make the shoulder pads as well and sell them on the Junkyard and I would be a very happy boy

I need to finish this first, then a helmet since i sold mine, then i will sculpt new shoulders, comic version of course, last time i did the comic helmet, but i was thinking using the 3d helmet with my comic dredd, what do you think?

Brilliant build, completely from scratch is very cool!

I think the 3d helmet looks great with comic style Dredd, Go For It!

Yeah i have it fiberglassed already, i just need to finish this to then get around the helmet

Im back!!
Finished
Just need to smooth it

I learned it was better to cut it appart and work the parts individually

That way its better to mold it

Ill be smoothing this week hopefully by next week mold it to start detailing my first cast
After my elysium ak-47 i wanted to do another gun so i finished this one

Oh, i have an interest thread somewhere, this build was old, its just that i finished it late

i havebt had time to mold it yet but when i do ill sure let everybody know here first
