Wizard World Chicago 2012

Wizard World is coming to the Chicago area (Rosemont, Illinois, to be precise) in a little over two weeks. While not on par as you would see in San Diego or New York, it still has its own flair.

Guest list includes The Boondock Saints cast, Bruce Campbell, William Shatner, Scott Bakula, cast members from Buffy and Angel and many others including the man himself, Stan Lee.

Starting this thread to see which RPF members are attending and what costumes, if any, you all will be wearing. As for me, I will be attending on Saturday and I'm still undecided as to what I'll be cosplaying as. Most likely my version of Guy from Daft Punk or my take on Bane (if I can finish in time).

Hope to see some of you there!

I guess I need to put some wheels on my R2 unit. I will probably go as Han Solo again.

Stop by Gotham's Finest booth I will be there Friday and Saturday.

Would love to see your Daft Punk since I'm going in my Tron Legacy
cosplay again. My gf will be doing the white outfit of Babydoll from
Sucker Punch, and also a Halo MK VI Spartan. Hope to see you there!

So plan on going Sunday at least. Maybe Friday.

I really wanted Stan lees auto but is the only way to get it to buy one of the $200+ tickets?

As far as I know, the $200 is for an actual meet and greet. I don't know if he will have a signing booth or not when he's done with his other commitments at the convention. I'm more disappointed that J. Scott Campbell canceled as I would have liked him to have signed my Gen-13 #1.

Does the Red Bar do a comic con themed night or nights like the CBR bar
at C2E2 did? I would love to go, but in costume =] Wouldn't want to show up glowing and look like a total idiot lol.

I'll be there, but only Saturday. I will probably be crossplaying Tony Stark because all the friends I am seeing there demanded it.

Yes! Sometimes it's on Friday people show up in costume, but a forum I'm a co-founder for, we're having our 'meet up' event on Saturday! STOP BY!!!!!

I'd say about 8 or 9. Apparently Wizard has an "official dance" going on that I just found out thru their app hahaha but I'm sure it's the room by the Red Bar So we'll be all there anyway!

the after party for Saturday night. Are you gonna be at both?

Yup! I should be! I have some VIP stuff I need to do but, I'm not entirely sure when THAT is, but I will be EVERYWHEREEEEEE!!!
