UK PROP PARTY Manchester report and Pics

if you're just attending you just buy your tickets and show up and enjoy everyone's hard work? hate to sound noobie but this would be my first.

Guys, we are thinking about attending the Manchester party.
We could exhibit the following helmets:

Iron Man Mark VI
Magneto First Class Helmets (end game and shaw versions)
Dredd Helmet
Daft punk elmets (thomas could be fully functional, guy will be for sure)

and a couple of props from the avengers movie:
Thor Mjolnir (should finish it before that date)
Couple of tesseracts

First of all, I'd need to know if we'd have a max of items to show. If so, the list could be updated and we'd have few items to ship.
Yep, ship. Since we're traveling by plane, we'd need to ship all of this stuff to UK from Italy way in advance and we'd have to find a place to park our stuff Manchester.

once the party is over, we'd have to ship the stuff back (unless we don't lose them in the process )

Shipping all our goods is the part that actually worries me the most.
We'll think about it and let you know as soon as possible!

If you are Happy to do this, you can ship the Parts to me, as i am the organisor of the event it stands to reason im going to be there.

Also the last thing i want to have is a black strike against my name so you can be 100% assured any items you do not sell will be shipped directly back to you, ask any one here and they will hopefully verify i am a stand up guy.

I want the UK prop Parties to be a success and having you guys over would be fantastic for us.

Brian Muir our Main Signer for the weekend is staying in a Hotel in Manchester i can find out which one this is and send you the details.

Please be assured i will do everything i can to look after your items and get them back to you

Yep just show up on the day and pay your entry fee, and then make your self known to us

Unfortunately i can only supply free entry to those guys displaying their props

As mentioned Previously, i really need to get this event in Manchester tied down and Finalised, if your considering coming please let me know asap as the Expo Guys will be on my case wanting numbers soon

I want to thank you all so much for signing up, especially our overseas visitors too ........... this is going to be an awsome event, without you guys giving up your free time and showing your talents, non of this would be possible.

Getting together once in a while is an excellent way to build friendships that go way beyond just cyber friendships, by attending these events and building the friendship bonds we are also supporting and making the RPF much more than just a forum.

Think i may have missed this had trouble getting online, I have been trying to get in to register interest in bringing my T2 Arnie to the Manchester event.
If i have i will be there anyway just with out him lol

Is this or will it be an annual event?

Because I don't think I can gather the fundings, to participate this year, but a UK Prop Party 2013 would be very possible ... would be awesome ...... would love to meet you guys!

i would say that this is now a regular RPF feature, unless the staff see otherwise

I would love at some Point to be able to have a European RPF Prop Party, and this is something we could look into for Next year

If the interest is there im happy to take the RPF Prop Party anywhere.

Actually thinking about it Germany has a great Grarrison and some good prop makers and pretty central in Europe too

That sounds awesome.

I too think that Germany would be a potential candidate to host a European RPF Party... As you say. There are a great Garrison, they already do these events (FedCon, SpaceDays and so) ... plus Germany is pretty centralized in Europe, and accessible by car for most Europeans (Brits excepted )

But yeah .. an EU RPF Prop Party next year in Germany ..... well count me in

R2DAN and myself are going to be discussing this at the Manchester event and funnily enough FEDCON was mentioned

We will discuss this a bit more After Manchester but this is very very doable IMHO

Pannaus Props have confirmed they will be in Attendence all the way from Italy with their Iron Man Helmets

We'd love to be your hosts, that much I can promise. German Garrison might even send some of our troops.

BTW, the only thing that I could bring to Manchester would be my ROTJ stormtrooper helmet replica, a CfO helmet (from JoeR's real helmet). It's sturdy and can go in my hand luggage I guess.
