No events going on.....Wizard World LA postponed aka cancelled.....I really don't care about Anime Expo........Comic Con is too far away (calendar wise)......economy sucks!
Is it time for a southern California prop party? I don't know! I've never been to one and never planned one! Anyone?

Also, how big of an area do we need? I have a Real Estate office in West LA that has severl cubicals (about 10-15 and extra space for 1:1 size props. We have bathrooms, kitchen and it's a single story building on a well traveled street. I would want to invite people from the area (past clients and neighbors to it, for possible business). Let me know what you think.

I'd be down, I can also bring some stuff for people to check out.
And my schedule is clear all summer as well until Comic Con as I don't start summer classes till then.
Some people were trying to get something going, but no one stepped up with a location. I'd like to help locate a place, but I have no clue on where to start.

I'm in... I organized the last big one (I think it was the last one), so I'd have to say I'd bow out of the organizing process, but I'm game as an attendee!
I know Jeff (gobler) would in for one as long as we get the place secured. I have a lot of connections in West LA. We just need to know how many will attend and what we need for space. I really think my office could work. We let telethon workers use my office all the time.

I'm leaving for San Diego tomorrow and will be out there for 3 or 4 weeks (permanently if I snag a job). So I'd be up for something in the next few weeks.

Hell yah. I may be missing the Indiana prop party due to my schedule which sucks cause I wanted to go. A local would be far easier to attend. And if Slave1 came that would be great. I would miss Matt though.

Thats what always hinders a SoCal prop party. A secure location, preferably a private one. I believe the last actual SoCal area prop party was at my friends house back in 2004/05! There was another at Global Effects not long afterwards.
I could bring my aliens props.
Including my Dropship helmet.
I live in West Los Angeles and would love to attend this. To bad I only have a small one bedroom apartment or I would offer up my place. I could bring some of my Predator masks to show off.

I would definately be in for th this. Don't have a huge amount of props to show, but I'd love to come along and meet some of you guys.
IM in San Bernadino right now, Its only about 3 and a half hours from Havasu, not a difficult drive at all actually Id be up to help out in any way, or just see some cool props!
