San Diego Comic-Con 2015 SDCC

Well after not getting a badge last year and Marriott Blocking ALL of their hotels for Comicon.... Im not going to hold my breath.

It was a disappointing process.

I got the whole family all 5 days!!

Should be big on Star Wars next year since it's being released in dec.
 
Of the three of us trying only one got in before everything was sold out so we got lucky.
Got the days we wanted. I can't see our luck holding up every year though like this.
 
We got all four for the whole family and preview night for me. This is my third year and the family's fourth as I was deployed the first year. First time doing preview night. Also will be the first year in costume, now I just have to finish my cyberman build.

we had my wife and I loggeg in, plus several friends around the country. All logged in at about 7. But it really is random when you get in. My friend got in in 15 minutes, my wife in 30 and me at the end at about 40. Thankfully our friend got in as only Thursday was left by the time I got in.
 
Definitely random. My wife got on at 8 and I got on at 8:55. I was the first to get in and bought our tix.
 
I got a 4 day badge just not preview night. I'm hoping i can score preview night on the next go around for tickets, i got on at 7:20 and the room didn't open till 9:00 and by the time i got tickets it was around 9:30.
 
I guess people would freak about this that plan a big vacation... but maybe two days max should be a purchase limit, thus allowing a lot more people to get the chance to go at all.
 
I think no matter how they do it, people will be unhappy about it. This random thing is a simple solution. Just like the Lottery or Willy Wonka.
 
Only got my three days so I could try to take it easy on Sunday. There's so much to do outside the convention as well. I'm expecting more fun things like 2014's Gotham Zipline and Assassin's Creed Experience.
 
had 6 of us trying. best we could do was sunday badges. super disappointing after going 8 consecutive years. hopefully 4 days at SWC will make up for it.
 
A month or so ago I signed up to be a volunteer in case I didn't end up getting tickets. For the first time in 5 years of trying, I managed to get tickets. I logged in around 8:45 It was around 9:20 or so when the banner on the screen said that preview night was sold out. Shortly after that I was in a different room and got the other 4 days.
