That looks like Matt "Murdock" Munson.
That looks like Matt "Murdock" Munson.
That's what makes it so excellent.
Munson got the munchies.

Awesome prop pix! Thanks Art!

Hey Art, or anybody else that's reading this, if you are over by the Profiles booth again can you get shots of the Wolverine costume's belt buckle and legs?
Also, the heels of Magneto's boots should have some metal detailing that I've always wanted a better look at. I wish the pants were tucked into boots like in the film because there is a cool metal ring at the tops of the boots I'd love to see better as well.
A million thanks!
Nick
Holy crap... it's the "sex belt." Where the Nite Owl belts were primarily flexible urethane, we did do one in rigid urethane - it was going to be used for the scene where Nite Owl and Silk Spectre II strip down before gettin' busy aboard Archie
You can tell by the inset hinge where the crescent mounts to the belt:
Basically, the crescent would swing out and the belt would break open on the "panel line" on that side. Not sure if they ever shot it "in action," but I believe it can be seen lying on the deck amidst the heap of costumes.
Great pics Art - thanks for sharing.
Great pics Art!
I hope you stop by the Weta/Hobbit booth and take lots of photos of the maps and props they have over there![]()

New Iron Man Helmet pleeeeeeeeeeeeease![]()
Thanks for the pics Art. Especially love the Batteries not included!! I hope to see more of those.
I wonder how many others have no idea to come to this part of the site to see pics. I have been wondering for days where all the pics and SDCC threads were. Just thought about it while on the throne, "hey i think there is an events area, maybe my dumb*** should look there." With so few comments here i have to bet i am not the only dummy.
Yeah the event section is fairly well hidden sadly.
You know it's bad when there's no traffic on the "Hot girls of SDCC" thread.

Here's some for you guys of the Mark 7 Suit- they are a bit blurry cause they are screen caps of the video I shot onstage. Stay tuned, putting up an interview this morning about the suits.
I don't know why they keep doing the mk VII with a v shaped vent, when in the movie it's just shapes as mark 3, 4 and 6. This bugs me.
thanks for the pics of the super suit

Jeyl's Glorious Comic Con Adventure!™
Well, my first Comic Con is over, and wow. What an awesome convention! Way bigger than animazement. Let's see what I can dig up here.
Travelling to the eFX area and... THE SHOTGUN!
Omg, omg, omg, omg. Mr. Booth person who I am ashamed to have forgotten you name, would you take a snap shot of me holding the gun?
SEQUEL!
Thank you very kindly sir for not only letting me hold the Shotgun, but also taking pictures as well.
Oh, these two? I saw a painting of these two once.... somewhere miles below the Earth's surface.
Also found this G.I. Joe Iron Grenadier wielding what appears to be a belt fed Smart Gun from ALIENS. Weird.
I knew there was a reason I brought my Womanthology book along!
GALE SIMONE!
One of the best folks at the event. You know how some celebrities take issue with signing multiple items? Gale has no such issues. One guy brought in six different issues from six different series and she signed them all. And when my turn came up, she not only signed my Womanthology book, she drew a little doodle of herself as well! So cute!
Also went and visited the La-La Land booth and saw their amazing array of soundtrack releases, including others that were long out of print. Just look at this Star Trek: The Motion Picture CDs lined up! Mmm. Colors. There's more colors in this one photo than there was in the whole darn movie.
Saw this as well. If you ordered one directly at comic con, it came with an exclusive poster designed by the artist who's doing the individual art for each movie included. I really liked the look of the poster and was surprised that on the third day 30 minutes before closing they still had quite a bit of posters remaining.
I even found what I believe to be Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's best action figure to date.
I was even graced to meet Syd Mead after spending a solid hour outside in the blazing sun. He was so generous with his autographs by not only signing the Sulaco print, but also anything else you brought along with ya. Even though I gave my Blade Runner badge to Charles, I have zero regrets. I'm so going to hang the picture he signed for me.
Also, Art Andrews. Here is your new Avatar.

That MIB shotgun is sweet!!
The Dwayne Johnson figure looks like one serious butt kicking Montel Williams!
This photo is probably one of the strangest poses I've ever decided to choose from because the idea behind it is ridiculous. Back when the first MIB movie came out, Galoob released some pretty interesting, if a bit very non-movie looking toys and this one caught my attention.
This toy featured a squishy Agent K with a panicked look on his face, grasping his gun, and covered in slime. I don't know why I thought "I want to pose like that tiny toy version of K coming out of Edgar's stomach!", but that's what went through my head.
Just a few pics from my 500+ pictures and video I took over the course of five days...
Also, very tragic what happened after the Con on Sunday. Luckily no one was hurt.
