RPF Dragon*Con Meet-Up

Well the other forums have gathering times set for about 8ish in that area, given that most of the community users are rolling in around that time often migrate to these areas anyway, im guessing this is a good time anyway.

However the pin-up pool photoshoot (sheraton pool) is at 830, which puts those community members attending that a healthy time to be back at the bar around 10ish?

Just my thoughts not an official statement or anything.

Yeah, I would like to know as well because we have our garrison party on Thursday night also..

Just let it be known, that we will be floating about in that general area...if the meetup happens, someone come over and grab us LOL.

No but seriously, come up and say hi because we both get extremely A.D.D., especially on Thursday and tend to have tunnel vision.

Luckily I think the hurricane is really supposed to dissipate. They're claiming only a 30/40% chance of rain from Thursday thru Friday.

I've had a few rainy Dragon*cons. I remember one year it started raining on Thursday in the afternoon! The only good thing was that was when registration was still at the Marriott and not the Sheraton. The Marriott had a covered walk-way where registration was...the Sheraton doesn't -_-.

So as an incase, pack an umbrella!

You can get to the parking lot across the street from the sheraton via covered walkway, although i cant remember where the access is for that.

I will certainly be there and looking for an official meet up.

In all seriousness, I'm really excited to make this year the best DC ever, which will largely be accomplished via all of the great people I hang out with, and all of the awesome people I hope to meet!

So, you are the new official location and everyone just needs to find you and follow you around? Actually, that might make it be easier to find each other than in a crowded bar.


It still hasn't sunk in I'm actually going this year and meeting some of my new online friends for the first time... and others I haven't seen in half a decade. Maybe once I'm on the plane I'll believe it.

I'm planning on being there... FINALLY!! Been trying to go for years now so I'm looking forward to it! Can't wait to meet everyone.

Okay everyone- we will be joining the SCF at the loft Thursday night! I will be getting there around 9pm, and will be in my RPF tshirt!

Getting real excited for this! Can't wait to catch up with homies and meet some East Coast RPFers.

I am so pissed, I had my membership and plane tickets all set and the girl I was going with crapped out on me and I lost my hotel reservation with that. Havent been in 5 years and its killing me.

So is the 'official" meet time 9:00, or will people be there earlier?

I'll try to make this as well but the plane doesn't get in until 9:40pm.

I'll be there with the latest ZF.1 in one hand and a cold beverage in the other.

Going to be in Atlanta in 3 hours

Is there an age limit to attend DragonCon? My 6 year old wants to go...

I live in ATL but don't have my Dcon pass. Can I still meet up with ya'll?

And the Con of Cons has ended! It was great to meet all of you that I did get to meet. I think we had little issue with not being able to find one another in the crowded Loft, but I did get to put some faces with some names.
