As always, this show is very poorly run. I gave up trying to get into panels. Too much of a mess. The security is a bunch of amateur volunteers who are clueless.
Loaded more showfloor pix here.
yes it was a HUGE run around for everything. Hopefully today is a bit better
today was a little better..still crowded...
We found a 'secret' stairs entrance to bypass the escelator crowd, thanks to one security guy who found out his dolphins where winning. The photo op line for tickets was non existant. I walked right up no problem. Stan Lee cancelled just as i was about to go on his line for the weekend. but I did get Batman and Robin and Emperor Palpatine who looks much different in person.
other than that, not much else to do anything that was interesting. Saw Joel Hodgson who autogrpahed my tom servo head. got some pictures with the bots...
not a bad day. tomorrow will be even shorter with elmo and ian..will get early for ian for taping..

Crowded, yes, but surprisingly not much more than yesterday. Last year Saturday was impossible.
Went to the MAD anniversary panel, which was a riot.
Hallmark Grievous:
Batman (kinda looks like Ahnold)
The lovely Cara Nicole doing everything right to a Phoenix costume
I don't know who this guy is, but he's not taking any crap!

oh man saturday was INSANE ... walking gridlock ....wayyyy oversold if anyone had pics of me in my poison ivy gear or steven in his prawn gear send em my way!!!!!! hope everybody had a blast
Too bad Val canceled. Thank you to everyone who is posting pics!
So I am VERY mad, I met Kevin Conroy (which was amazing, true dream come true!), and paid for an autograph and picture. I received my autograph, and then took the picture with Mr.Conroy. I was then handed a flyer and like an idiot I assumed it was something to retrieve my photograph online with. I get home now and look to the flyer they handed me and it is nothing but some Brett Hart and Shaun Micheals paper with some silver scibbly on it. No information at all on it regarding my photograph at all. I am so furious right now, more at myself cause I was busy before hand arguing with someone and my attention span was zero. Especially after being overly excited about meeting a childhood hero. IF ANYONE CAN HELP me retrieve this photograph it would an amazing help!!
aww man how heartbreaking did you try emailing this New York Comic Con Exhibitor Details - Your VIP Pass i really hope you get your photo! good luck

We only went today and it was much too crowded. So glad we weren't there Saturday. I'm not going back next year. It costs too much money between tickets, food, gas, and parking just to deal with that kind of crazy high number of people. I didn't even see hardly any costumes worth taking photos of. I guess Dragon Con has spoiled me.
Saturday was nuts. Sunday I thought was even worse....but at least it was a short day..
Still annoyed i didn't have time to see phil lamar, or kevin conroy..
Roscoe..The Man who doesn't age..
Not Darth Nader, but still funny...
The Man who saved Star Wars..
Thanks to Error, I got the picture! I won't be getting the original that is signed BUT it is better than nothing and I have to just get this printed on good paper and framed together with my autographed print =)

Again, I said it on FB but thank you so so much Error! Now if I get to meet Mark I can die a happy man!!!
I think he only stays in LA though =( I would love to get him to sign the same picture
there was no line actually, I got there and was the last person to get one apparently. I dont know the area, but he was on that part of the floor that had the huge Jake & Finn blow up from Adventure Time. Like the FAR left of the building facing the front. As soon as you went up the stairs it was mini me and him. He wasnt even supposed to be there today but I am sure glad he was!
Well, survived my first con. I expected it to be crowded, but not THAT crowded. In some areas, it seemed like it took about 5 minutes to walk down 50 feet because of the congestion.
Didn't try to get into any panels since there wasn't anyone I REALLY wanted to see or celebs/artists that I wanted autographs from. It was cool to see Caitlin Blackwood, and I got a photo with Jordan Hembrough from Toy Hunter because he was basically giving out free hugs while filming for his show.
I also dressed up last minute as Sebastian Shaw because my friend was nagging me to go as someone. It was kinda weird at first being asked to stop and get my photo taken, but I got used to it after a while. I got a million compliments on my helmet, but my friend was getting annoyed because everyone kept calling me Magneto, and she was yelling out "He's not Magneto! He's Sebastian Shaw!" Only 6 people got it right.![]()
AWW MAN. .. yea it was almost boarderline not fun due to how over sold it was ...and when you spend that much money on tickets ...parking ...food ..getting into the city or whatever traveling expenses you want to really enjoy yourself .. i almost felt kind of un-safe there .. think about it there are no real security checks .. steven walked in with a backpack ..could of been a bomb ...a gun .... my arm could of been a bomb lol whats to stop a group of nuts from ruining an event like that ...and everyone would get trampled ... there are not so many exits ...even what if there was a fire .... at least at pax there were these HUGE open floors ... not much grid lock type traffic ...tons of swag being handed out ..tons of games events ... free fun to do ..and table top plus some venders are there till 3 a.m ...you get so much more for your money
Thursday was empty. I go as press so was there since about 11 on Thurs. The showfloor opened at 3 and there were just a few thousand people in the entire building, so relatively empty. Friday got crowded late, but the morning wasn't bad at all.Next year I am going on Thursday & Friday.
