Typically, this is done after Dragon Con, as it is the only time that everyone isn't busy planning/building something.
Let's here from the Nor-Cal people and gauge some interest. Historically, this is held in the bay area, or Sacramento, but I am open to suggestions on local. With gas prices at an all-time high, I am sure that some may not want to travel a great distance. This IS Califonia, after all.
No matter where it's held it will still be a 2+ hour drive for me.

Four? Are there only 4 people in Northern California interested in a prop party? If this were held in october in Sacramneto, how many people think they might like to come?

I'm in depending on date and location. I'd rather not drive all the way to Sac, but we'll see.

Depending on the date, I am certainly in. I have a great time at the famous Northern California Prop Parties and have made some good contacts and friends at these events.
Doesn't matter if it is on the coastside or in Sac.

2nd or 3rd weekend in October, either location.
i'll try and make it this time around, but depends on date and more likely to attend if it's the bay area. sac is to far for me this days with the price of gas.

Regrettably, no location, time or date is ideal for anyone. The Bay Area is far for folks like me and others who live out in Sacramento and Solano county. At the same time, holding it in our area is far for folks down in the Bay Area. Putting it simply, we all just have varying schedules.
I spoke to my friend at Heroes Alley (Toy Fusion's new name) where we had our gathering last year. He is willing to open up his warehouse again in Rancho Cordova (Sacramento region). Unless there are other meeting options, we can use their warehouse on Saturday, November 8. Given time to assess other options, I will wait to post a separate event thread to be made sticky until Friday, Sept. 12.
