Did this happen last saturday? I wanted to go, but am way behind on my SDCC costume.
28th is out for me. I will be in San Diego again.
As long as we're listing availabilities, I'm booked on the 20th. Don't have plans on any surrounding days, but the 20th I'm busy.

I live in a Town house area off of a private street. There is two small parking lots on each end of the street for cars. We have a sort of "half" driveway you can park in, never had a problem with ticketing when parking there, although I cant guarantee anything if you park it in the driveway.
Also, Irvine has literally been the safest city in America for like the past 12 years.
Your friends car may experience meterorite damage before getting messed with in Irvine!

the fear wasnt that it would get damaged, but more that it would be his prop for the party. a prop isnt useful if its not seen or placed where it can be enjoyed. while he still understand that the feasibility of parking nearby may not be logical.
Yeah, I understand I think it would be awesome to have the car there. Well, we could do it half in the driveway, half in the garage for display and then when things get louder later at night, we can close the garage door with the car in it or out in the lot. The lot isnt far at all from the house, maybe about 3 garages down the row.
However, there are two parallel spaces directly across from my house that I could park one of my cars in and move it when your buddy gets here for him to park.
Hmmm- It's the same day as the 626 Night Market event in Pasadena. I'll confer with Special Lady and see if she'd consider trying to do both...
I'm taking my Herbie to a charity event for the Braille Institute of LA earlier that day but depending on when it's over I'll see if I can stop by and park next to the Delorean for a bit. Will call on the way in if I can make it to pick up anything lacking for the BBQ.

Can't make this one, have to drive to AV so a friend can help me rebuild the transmission on my Chevelle. So this will prob take all Sat and Sunday. Sucks I won't be there to catch up with all the cool people like Laamberry, Fel, Zander etc.
OK, I'm officially coming! I'll bring some recent Star Trek props... (Just me. Special Lady has to work.)
