COMIKAZE EXPO 2014 returns for it's 4th year at the Los Angeles Convention Center from October 31 to November 2, 2014.

Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price for a 3-day pass $50 (regular price $70).

As with the popularity of these cons/events seem to be growing and selling out (WonderCon 2014 sold out of Saturday and 3 day passes and SDCC sold out again) and with the huge growth of costuming/cosplay, plus opening day is on Halloween this year, you can bet they won't have a problem with a shortage of attendance.

I'm posting this here for my fellow RPF members to buy early and save!

Most likely going on Saturday and Sunday. Their artist alley has improved so much in such a short time. Really looking forward to getting a sketch commission.

Update: The 3 day pass discount has expired - price is now $70

1 day passes are currently available at $25 (normally $30) for a limited time.

I will most likely suit up for patrol in my street Judge uniform on Friday and Saturday.

Waiting for some $$$ to roll in, and my buddy to tell me which day he wants to go before I order tickets, either gonna be there Sat or Sunday

Thinking about going :)

I know it is a bit of a trip coming from 400ish miles north (Sacramento), but I have to say this con to me is a lot of fun.... with such a much more relaxed atmosphere than SDCC it is as big no but to me it is a great size. Lots of good people, good panels and you can actually move around in the con with some "elbow room". Overall a great atmosphere in my opinion. Comikaze 2013 was my 2nd con(of all time) and I will be going every year I think.I suggest though if you do wait in line at the "starbucks vendor" or any other food vendor do so in shifts with a buddy... I can not tell you how nice it was to have my older brother with me to talk to, and not only that gave me a good chance to step out of line and use the bathroom while I waited in line for 30ish minutes for each food and a coffee later on.

One of the highlights last year was the Legacy Effects Booth. Many of the actual props from the Marvel films were on display.
