Chicago Comic-con are you going show us your cosplay costume

All you cosplayers, I dont know about you but "we" will be heading to Chicago Aug 21st threw the 24th. The show should be great and It may be one of your last chances to meet Stan Lee he is the man but he is 91. If you are going show us and tell us about your costume and your labor of love.....



RPF: MEET AND GREET: 9pm at the Red Bar in the Hyatt on Saturday 23rd

RPF: Lunch / Meet UP Friday the 22nd 12pm at the Expoteria restaurant that's connected to the convention center.

RPF: Zombie Walk after Lunch 1pm on Friday the 22nd

I'll be there as Hobgoblin. Still piecing it together. I have a WIP thread in the Marvel section but here are some highlights of whats done thus far-

Mask was a lucky find on storenvy.com. I have no artistic skills when it comes to sculpting so once i figured out i wanted a half mask i scoured the internet for samurai masks until i found the sculpter on storenvy. His name is Elliot Jackson. Right now i'm working on making some red lensed goggles that match the mask and i haven't settled on how i'm covering the mouth. My first instinct was black mesh but the look with my mouth showing between the teeth is growing on me.
 
Don't be shy show us your work....... I know more people than the Doc and I are going to the Con.... In fact i think all should meet up for a drink during the con to see the costumes in person..
 
I'll be there just for the Saturday of the con and possibly the Friday. I'm in the process of completely remaking my Shredder costume. I may start a thread on it in the near future.
 
It would be cool if Kobb could make it, we'd have half the members of a new Sinister Six! In any case I'd be up for meeting up for a drink and admiring each others work first hand.
 
Sounds good for Saturday night i am in .......... Drinks Friday night after the con Embassy Sweets bar across the street from the con..

I'm in the same boat as Kobb. Between the little time I have per week to devote to the costume and the little money I have in budget to devote to the costume, I do not know if I'll have my Red Hood build done in time. I'll have a better idea a month from now. Maybe I can get it all together and still have the money to purchase a Saturday ticket. It would be cool to meet you all!
