I'm almost finished editing the footage. Like Orange_Blend suggested I'm going to break the video into parts so it's easier for me(given my slow mac problems) to upload to Youtube.
I'm going to do the main video and the raffle as 2 separate videos + I'm going to break the demos into 2 parts(possibly 3). Hopefully by this weekend they'll all be up.
Looking forward to it! Especially Cam's antics during the draw.![]()
When I was at the party I spoke to practically everyone in attendance. I was amazed at the skill sets that many people had. I wanted to make use of a few of those talents but I cannot remember the specific individuals associated with those talents.
I am pretty sure Justin had some graphic design talents and we discussed making some new graphics for my Voyager Warp Core PADDs. Could you PM me Justin?
Someone else was a website expert. We had discussed the possibility of you doing a new website for me. Could you PM me as well?
Next time I will bring a pad of paper.![]()
If you don't find your graphics guy I'm the Art Director at Global TV and know my way around such things.Just let me know! Always happy to take payment in product.

Gerry, I actually meant to email you right away re the web stuff, just slipped through the cracks! Will email you right now.![]()
Well I've got all the footage edited from the party, however uploading it to Youtube will take a while due to my problematic mac. I've got them at an average of 200mb each file and that takes my old mac about 2 hours to upload.
I don't want to post a link yet until they are all uploaded.
Just watched and we missed Cam's meltdown! That was the funniest part of the whole party!![]()
And it missed my gracious gifting of the Enterprise to you - LOL.
Great videos. Too bad we didn't get the meltdown.
Great job Andrew!

I had to edit a lot of footage and some parts didn't have clear audio so I just had to cut them because it wouldn't have made sense. If you listen carefully, in the first part, I had to edit quite a bit of the audio. The raffle part has some loud audio at the end when my buddy Nick panned the camera right on my face. We captured a couple of funny Cam moments though. My favourite is
Me: It's(the phaser) not that good..
Cam: I'll take it.
I can post the 'tantrum' later as a small clip.
Freakin hilarious, that guy is.
He's gonna hate us for this.
Oh Cam. His masks are amazing.
BTW, I think the demos turned out pretty well.
Trouble is, the mic picked up some of the louder voices(like my buddy Nick) Freakin guy's voice was all over the footage.
Thanks GM...
Man, Im so sorry I missed the party!

Gotta say it again Andrew, I know many of them were the toys but you had an impressive Star Trek table! I'm a little jealous.![]()
Thanks Mike.
When I was younger and didn't know about props, Playmates were all I could get access to. It wasn't until the late '90s that I started trying to step up the quality of the collection.
I've got to talk to Gerry at some point about some Tricorder electronics. I'd actually like to do up a Playmates TNG tricorder with electronics and then one of the Myron Stapleton ones that I have...Then I need to get a TOS tricorder...I also want to get a metal TOS phaser eventually...the list goes on. Jeez.
I like Neil's pulse rifle. Gotta get one of those too...eventually, but have NO idea where to even start. Neil's is an assembly from different sources I think.
