2012 Toronto Prop Party **JUNE 2nd, 2012**

I hope everyone is fairly satisfied with the current layout.

If anyone has any specific questions about the dimensions of the room, just let me or Dr_Slurpee know.

*the hotel has advised me that should we want to setup on Friday June 1st, we are free to do so. I probably will. If anyone is in the Toronto are and is interested, just let me know. I'm off work that day so I can be there any time in the afternoon, or evening.
I will get the specific table sizes sorted out but they will know in advance how many we require. That way 'exhibitors' can make a quicker transition to setup once they arrive.

Admission
For those of you who are 95% sure you are attending, we can set up a 'pre-paid' system. Let me know who doesn't mind the idea. I'll see much reaction for this over the next week and a half to see if it makes any sense.
We'll have a table at the entrance like last year for all RPF member tags as well as guest tags.

I'll probably bring some stuff over on the Friday evening after work then. That way I'm not cramming everything into one trip.

Floor plan looks pretty good to me, no worries there.

You'd be totally welcomed. Hopefully the weather will be great that Saturday. If you and you wife can't make the drive out, we totally understand.

We'll have lots of pictures for sure so you'll feel like you were there.

Please do! We had a bunch of people buying and selling last year. If anyone feels like bringing stuff to sell, please go right ahead.
Also, if anyone is looking to buy stuff, you can post any interests you may have on this thread.

I'll have to double-check, but new member Janitor has expressed interest in coming.

As for buying I'm always in the market for Star Wars, Star Trek, James Bond, Doctor Who, BTTF, Ghostbusters, and Indiana Jones.

Playing with the 'con-vict' concept.
I think it's cool.
But I'll stick with the current event title for now.
Plus, 'Prop Con' is too close to 'pop corn'.
Especially for a website.
I wouldn't want people thinking it's popcorn.ca

Ah, after I wrote my post I thought it might be. I think the leaf is better.

Heh heh, well the original idea of the Prop-Con was one that Cav brought up when he and I were talking so I came up with the idea of the convict shirt. I think we all sometimes feel a little like we're in prison with the hobby, trapped wanting more new and cool props.

I've been drumming up some interest amongst the nerds I know. Probably will have 5-6 people coming. Of those one will likely be Rob Leth, our nerd reporter:
