Stealth Iron Man Mk VI - Fiberglass/Foam Hybrid

Here are various pictures taken from San Diego Comic Con 2012 of my Stealth Iron Man Mk VI. This one took about 8 months as it was my first pep build so I had a lot to learn along the way. The servos in the helmet took a while to figure out too. Suit made from robo's pep files. Helmet hinges are from mightjohn's plans.

Also, here's a link to a demo of the automated faceplate and electronics.

Looks awesome!! Very inspirational to break away from the red and gold! I am doing an atypical color scheme on War Machine and seeing the stealth armor confirms my feelings that is plenty of room out there for non-movie armor!!
Great work!:cool

Thanks bud! Good luck with your build.

I don't care what anyone says, you can never have too much Iron Man and this suit is brilliant.
It must have been great to stand in the Iron Man Suit Hall of Fame wearing one yourself!

very nice

Thank you sir!

It's not just that, it's cause...

...well yeah, ok, you got me.

really though
I like the color :$

Hahahaha yeah I loved this suit ever since I saw it when I was a kid. Thanks again Stefano

Thanks man! It was really exciting just to stand in the hall of armor... Marvel puts on a good show at comic con every year.

Amazing costume!, now an amazing tuto? ;-)

What would you like to know? I list out a bunch of videos and references on my build thread. "The Hero Tutorials" is where I got my start, then doing a lot of google searches for other things. The Hero Tutorials - YouTube

Awesome suit. Inspiring for those of us who are building one.

Quick question, can you tell us or show us photos of how you put the abdominal part abs and stomach wrap around the back - together. Is it all one piece or have you kept the segments separate for movement?

Once again, awesome build with a beautiful finish!

It's one piece. Very bad mobility.

This has great armor coverage. The leg covers really help a lot.
You could have been mistaken for one of the armors from the movie!
You fit in well with them!
I am happy you made this!
