I did this costume in collaboration with my friends at Lab604 for a client who premiered it at D*Con 2012 - we were pretty damn proud of how it turned out and he had a blast in it (no pun intended).

I am blown away by this! What materials did you use for the body armor?
and is that like a modified deep blue zentia type suit underneath?
Holy crap questions... hahaha.
The armor was cast in fiberglass and coated with bronze powder. The suit is custom patterned to the client and then made up in dark navy jumbo spandex and a really cool blue iridescent faux leather. I made the belt in a metallic stretch and the back of the suit has the star in the same gold. There are no good pics of the back after the suit was finished, but attached is a WIP pic of the back.TotallyAquaman said:
