    Jun 23, 2012 - Master Chief from Halo3 #1
    This is my first cosplay and my first costume that i've build. It has gone a few versions of upgrades and mods. This costume is supposedly for a friend but he dump everything to me because of his work. We are almost in the same size and in the end it turn into mine for the first version. ROFL. Lack of details made me obsess with modding it and turning into this.

    It took me 4 solid month to build this. I barely sleeps with all the peps, fiberglass smells and etc. Costed me USD1000 since materials are hard to come by in my country and i mean SERIOUSLY HARD.

    For my costume, im super proud with my first work.

    For this time, this costume is already 2 and half years old. I tried making other armors and also from Halo3 series but this is my best work ever.

    These are so amazing. For the helmet, did you just mod helmets you found? Or did you build them from scratch? I really love the face shields, and can't say i've ever seen a helmet that had that kind of face shield.

    no mods .. made everything using pepakura. Helm and Chest is low detail pep. details are added afterwards using bondo but i got lazy and a con is coming up, so i kept it to a minimum.

    the visor is actually a motorcycle visor. two layers. the back layer is chrome-green and the front is clear and cut to the shape u look at now .
