Zombie Gnome

I was asked by a friend of mine to transform a couple of her garden gnomes into Zombie Gnomes, but i need a little advice. What is a good plyable sculptable compound i could add to the plastic gnome to change its look? I dont think clay would work. What about bondo would that stick well to the plastic and also be sculptable?

I'd go with Aves epoxy putty- you can also get it in colors.
