Wow! That is great! I plan on getting back on sculpting after my iron man build..still too many plans on working on Marvel sculpts... not a pro though. Just took it as a hobby, but MAN! 'am I enjoying it!

Ordered everything needed today, I wanted to go with stone, but Hydrocal seems way better for mask making.
Ultracal would last much much longer! Hydrocal starts loosing detail after the first few copies.
Ultracal is not as good as Hydrocal for maskmaking bro. Hydrocal is very good when it comes to little details. Anyways, don't worry, I know what I'm doing

Personal preference. I use both, for me it just depends on what I'm working on. Hydrocal tends to stress me out more because it sets up so fast, even with cold water as compared to ultracal in which I can take my time. Both work just fine for me.
Btw, I'm loving your leatherface. Loads of detail, I can't wait to see it worn.
Started digging out my costume. Found my shirts and my leather bracers.. Now i gotta buy a husqvarna chainsaw!

Pulling the proto mask today, painting it today too ! Should have picture of the "nearly" finished mask tomorrow, because I didn't receive my leather straps yet ...
First try went bad because of the latex quality. Will have a new try in a few days.

How long are you letting the rubber dwell in the mold?
Long enough haha
I made a huge mistake trying to thicken my latex by putting talc in it ... It made it easily tearable.
But I should soon have a good mask made.
