    Hey guys,
    I'm here to present you my new project, a 2003 Leatherface mask. It's only a very early WIP (5 hours on it) but I thought I'd share it with you to get your opinions.
    I'm planning on making latex and silicone copies, and I might even make foam masks.
    I've been going into this project because I found very rare pictures of the original sculpt, so I'm putting a lot of efforts into it to make it the greatest leatherface mask ever.

    Here's a picture of the character for those of you who don't know him :

    Although I think the concept of the remake was a discredit to the original (strictly my own opinion, I realize), this version of leatherface is without a doubt far creepier than the original and your work so far seems to be doing that justice. Good job!

    This is my favorite of them all. I really hope you nail this mask. I have pictures i could scan and mail you of the original sculpt and foamlatex mask if you like.

    Great news ! Andrew Bryniarski, the leatherface actor, posted a picture of my sculpt on his Facebook wall !! He also p.m.ed, saying that the sculpt looked evil !! I'm so proud and I can't wait to finish this piece !

    How refined are you going to get the mask? The shapes and big details are perfect i think, I'm assuming you are going to smooth everything now and start all the fine detail?

    I would love to see some of your other sculpts so i can get an idea how detailed you are going to get. The original was textured but very subtly along with all the wrinkles. Most fan sculpts over do the texture and wrinkles .

    Don't worry bro, I'll go for the subtle textures. I definitely want the most accurate mask ever made !
