Well i'm calling this done. i still need to finish up the mold walls but i should be putting this in silicone this week.
I'm pretty damn happy with it. i can't wait to paint one up.
Cracking work man! Really the shapes and curves alone must have been a nightmare! Cant wait to see one painted up
ok i have the first cast out. came out really good! although i didnt quite mold it correctly and they are hard to get out. not impossible, just more work then i would prefer.
these will run on the small side since they are made to fit me, but oh man does it fit good. i will have to take better pics of the fit once i get it painted up.
Very very cool! How well does it sit on the head? Do you have to keep your head tilted back slightly?
Amazing job! You wouldn't happen to have any pics of your molding process would you?? I'm ready to mold some of my work and would like to see your methods since it came out so nice!

That looks amazing! The great thing about Falmer armour is its made from an Organic material so any irregularities only improves it organic look. Cant wait to see this all painted up!
thanks everyone for all the kudos! i haven't had a chance to paint it yet. i have been spending all my time on another project for someone.
yeah i appreciated the fact that the armor was made out of giant bug carapace. it allowed for me to have some irregularities. I will leave the highly accurate, symmetrical steel gear to Volpin! lol!

Dude. I think the hardened armor is some of the very best looking in the game.
