RPF Sculpture Contest - JAN/FEB - WINNER ANNOUNCED!

Re: RPF Sculpture Contest - JAN/FEB

Just about half way through the contest guys! Still time to enter if you're a quick sculptor. :)

Re: RPF Sculpture Contest - JAN/FEB

I want to build a ventriloquist dummy for this, but I plan to paint it and add clothes etc. So Does that count? Because the contest states "unpainted"...

Re: RPF Sculpture Contest - JAN/FEB

New to the contest here...does "clay" refer to ANY clay, such as plasticlays i.e. Sculpy, or epoxie clays or are there restrictions?

As this is a contest just for the sculpt the final entry must be unpainted. That's not to say you can't paint and add clothes after the fact but the submission must be the raw sculpt. :)

Any clay is fine!

Re: RPF Sculpture Contest - JAN/FEB

Out of curiosity, I was wondering if I could change my subject matter as I started sculpting my subject matter began to change, started off as one thing but is starting to look like another, and the latter is more of a challenge so I'd like to change it?

Not a problem at all. :thumbsup

I don't plan on doing it, but if I start a new sculpt what are the rules on kit-bashing some parts onto the sculpt? I have a pretty cool concept of an armored alien creature, and some random gizmos that would tie in fantastically.

For this contest there is no kit-bashing, just pure sculpting. Thanks for asking. :)

Good luck!
