I am about to start work on a sculpt, and I was wondering if someone could save me some trouble and aggravation.
The idea is to sculpt the detail pieces, use insulation foam (blue foam) as a base buildup, and assemble the whole shebang shortly before molding it.
What I am wondering is... will the clay adhere to the foam, or will it just fall off and ruin a few hours of work?
I have some oil based clay I can use, but I thought about maybe using water based instead. Either way, I am hoping for some advice to save me some pain and irritation, might as well ask the guys who know the best
