Well I got burnt out on the Sci-fi stuff and decided to get back on my JAWS full bodied shark sculpt it's 18 inches long here are afew shots with a test paint I'll most likely be molding this in the next week or so then I'll get on the Orca boat that I'm doing the Orca will be over 2 feet long. When Sideshow did their Bruce Maquette I felt like it looked like a Shark but not thee Shark "Bruce" thanks for looking,
Ray.

Looks really good, I like it! Such a nice, clean sculpt and it definitely looks like old Bruce.

The Sideshow Bruce is far from perfect, but I bought one and still like it as we get so few officially licensed JAWS products. It's partly about supporting the franchise in a way, I was hoping that SS would release Quint, Brody and Hooper at the time....maybe HOT TOYS will get around the the license eventually. That would be excellent.

Very sexy! You managed to capture the details really well. I always have a soft spot for those movies. Well Done.

Great idea! A Hot Toys Brody, Quint and Hooper would be AMAZING!! Just take my money now!!!!! :)

From what I understand, The Sideshow Bruce was crafted from the blue prints of the prop itself and not the finished product. I much prefer the Bruces' from Shark City Ozark. Screen accurate and beautiful. They are incredible if you haven't seen them.

Mike's work is great, indeed - I was kind in from the ground floor on that, so I am a big fan of what he does.

Yeah, the SS Bruce was based on the original blueprints for the shark, not on the final screen-used shark. Bit of a wierd choice, but non the less interesting and significant.

HOT TOYS really should look into the JAWS license - I think Quint, Brody and Hooper would sell like hotcakes!

I agree completely.

Not to hijack the thread but has any company ever done a Brody, Quint or Hooper in any scale?

Finally got around to finishing this I will offer a few for sale if anyone is interested in one they will be pre-finished it won't be offered as a kit.
