Hello everyone, thanks for the comments. the red one, is Alien devil. :)

I finished the tail, which was quite challenging. now missing nails and internal jaws. Then follow various finishes. then follow the textures and the skeleton for different postures of Alien.

Nick Daring,I'll do some rendering Chromed at the end of modeling.

Chrome plating (ALIEN T 1000). They are great pictures, so you can zoom in to see details. I'll add others.

That looks great! Its funny I was thinking a chrome over black base coat might be the way forward when it comes to painting these, adding the greys browns etc. over the top of the chrome so it just shows through rather than using metallics :unsure

You mean chroming uniform colored grays browns etc, or nuanced streaks, like something antique?

Re: My life-size sculpture of Giger Alien Version

Now that's some biomechanical organism beauty if I ever saw it!
Thanks Nick.
With these I am back on track.
I could work more on the textures, but it is sufficient for the purpose.
The first four images are obtained after a rendering of 20 minutes each.
The following are the screen of the software, without rendering, ie without all the calculations of reflexes.
Next job is to equip the mesh skeleton, to be able to put in different poses and, if I can, a little video in which the alien moves ....:devil

That Looks Amazing :thumbsup :)

wow- My jaw is on the floor....

Wow! This is looking excellent!

Here's a little video test handling of Alien. (put it in HD)
I want to learn how to move it better.
I can only make video effects without reflection and with surfaces having a minimum number of triangles, because the rendering time increases exponentially.
A frame of this video is developed in 3-4 seconds, for a total of 25 minutes of rendering, and 16 seconds of video. If I put reflections, shadows, fog and more detailed surfaces, a frame would last 25 minutes. Maybe there are compromises, but at the moment do not know them.
Followed by images with different poses and I will ask you which one you like more.
So that probably will build it.:)

I just read through this entire thread - your work is a sensation! You are very talented with blender also! - I think you should have a go at the Alien 3 creature... have him running up the wall of your apartment! Really impressive work :)

Thanks christrom,
Between all versions of Alien, I only like the first. Other versions have become animals, with the feet of chicken. :)

Hello to all,
if you feel like, vote which of these four postures you feel like it, thinking to be able to have in your home, or even just in itself.

thanks
