I was using some I had laying around, and after 10 layers it was only the thickness of a balloon.. which I thought was odd!

I like to order from Monstermakers.com. I've been using their slip latex for over a year. It comes in various shades and can be tinted too.
RD407 is the type of latex for mask making. You can probably find a relatively local place that carries it.
I use MonsterMakers, but ive only used their "bat black" type. It gives a great deal of thickness to the mask.
