hello all.

been a while since i posted but have just wrapped this sculpture up and thought i would share it.

the finished thing with be silicone and ill be making the eyes to go with it. As you can see, I have approached this character as if he existed so have taken some liberties with the make up.

hope you like it and ill post more photos as i go along with it






 
Though it's hard to imagine Palpatine without his deep black waffled hood/robe ... this looks quite promising indeed :)

I've seen a number of takes on the Palpatine bust and this is without question my favourite. You've really managed to make it look natural and believable (some I've seen just seem to lump big waves of flesh on the face and it looks odd). Wonderful work!

warrenhouck, im afraid i don't do runs of things

got the mould finished, will be running the silicone casting in the new year

It is a very cool sculpt. :thumbsup Still there might be room for improvement on the lower part of the face IMHO, mouth and chin/neck.
