These are two that I found on youtube. They represent the two differnt styles of molding: 1) case first; RTV second. 2) RTV first and case second

So much information to try to learn from/absorb .... it can be truly overwhelming.
Nevertheless, THANK GOD FOR YOUTUBE !!! - I always learn much better by actually seeing something done than by reading a tutorial. (Taking nothing away from written tutorials, mind you - very valuable as well).
youtube is your best bet theres plenty of vids on how to make plaster and silicone molds normaly when i do silicone molds yes helmets i allways mold to at a time that way you are not wasteing silicone as its not cheap these days
