    Hello everybody, I am pleased to introduce you to my take on that famous caractere that is Hellboy, with this life size bust.

    Let me explain a little why I sculpted the piece, the point was to represent that fantastic caractere in a way that would show a real presence and intensity, with an expression that command respect, in a different style (usual Ron perlman representation),

    here are the last picture I took, showing where i am on the sculpt.




    The bust was sculpted in waterclay, and totaly textured, it is about 20" tal and 12" wide. The missing ponytail will be sculpted after the bust is casted in a resistant material.

    Happy to see the end of that project.

    Great sculpting skills and a great bust!

    But i think this should be posted in the "Replica Props" or the "General Modeling" section IMO.

    looks awesome, you should mold and cast this in silicone. Looks a little like logan too

    Jowe, You're right, there is some Logan in it(not by accident ), but it wont be silicone, but a kind of resine.

    Thats a fantastic representation of the character. Its nice to see a non movie version and the detailing on the back of the bust is very very nice. Well done.
