Giger's Alien 3

I've been working on a 1:6 scale Giger's Alien 3 sculpture. As much as i like the alien used in Alien 3, i always wished they had used this one instead. Here's the pics.

It looks very fast, yes. Like it can go on the ceiling, and the walls... Yes. Very fast.

And it can make noise through the valves on its body.

I'll be cracking on with this one shortly Clutch! Just found some great new reference for it that will help me get it right.

Interesting looking creature with those female lips. Rather reminiscent of Sil.

I actually like the closed mouth. It's more like the classic drawings of Alien.

I agree. The full lips are lost when they are stretched across a mouth full of teeth. I know it has nothing to do with Egypt, but some Egyptian-style base would be cool. lol

I was thinking about its mouth before I started this.

I have to sculpt it with the lips, as that's the way it looks and part of what makes it Giger's Alien 3.

But at the same time it does seem strange having an alien with no teeth.

So I’m thinking I might have to have two versions of the mouth area that could perhaps be interchangeable with magnets or something?

Clutch : I see what your saying about the base, but I got something, that if it works out should look very cool.

You can make a hinged lower jaw.

If the lips are supposed to be solid and not soft and being able to be pulled back revealing the teeth, then that offers an ingenuous way of doing the teeth, as a sort of retractable option, where, when the lower jaw goes down, it also pulls the upper teeth down from behind the lips, as well as pulling the lower teeth up from behind the lower lip - all connected to the motion of the lower jaw.

Sorta like seen in the Prometheus xeno with the extending teeth.

If that makes sense.
