Giant dad - costume build- pt1 "the Mask of the father'

hey there

heres another commish im doing . for all you "casuls" this is Giant dad from the Dark Souls game. apparently the legend here, never dies and is somewhat of a juggernaut.

just started build , beginning with the mask again. just want to set tone and i can tweak it as i continue build. deadline is september so updates will coming fairly quick .

heres the shield
made skeleton of plastic clothes hamper cover shaped to size and reinforced with aluminum . the handle is apart of that frame so it solid. the rest is eva foam. used contact cement. switching from hot glue to Barge contact cement so the whole thing doesnt come apart in heat.
will paint rest of details

heres the torso so far , been a busy summer juggling projects but now back focused on this one till finished .

busy busy busy....lol
have a few gigs going at same time so progress is slower but im getting there

heres is the suit so far, free hand build of armor.. my second armor piece ..getting a little easier, will be done by end of week as deadline is monday....been having those highschool dreams where i wake feeling i have a test i didnt study for...lol
been fun though. my client asked if i was having fun... i said yes but at a very rapid pace.
