Oz, great work. Now let´s see you clean that sucker up!
To side a little with Oz, I can understand where he´s coming from, because I, too, see it as a huge gap in anyone´s education if you can´t discern between a classical sculpt in clay or someone working with a pep model (!) as a basis. Paper as a medium can be awesome, we have seen what our member Atlanthia once did with a few towel rolls and left over cereal boxes, elmers glue and spackle.
But Oz, just cut the little ones some slack. If they want to play with Legos, then so be it. What next. a comparison between your sculpt and the one that Fierfek sculpted (!) in 3D and printed out? I do not think that we need this.
Just to get this out of the way, the Stormtrooper was modeled in 3D and printed out for EP7. So to have something screen accurate that follows the same techniques, it´s 3D and printing. But since we follow the "everything is allowed if it gets us results" it of course makes total sense to use the oldest of sculpting techniques, i.e. clay and the human hands and brain.
Now lets all indulge ourselves in the marvels that our skilled members have to share with us. And yes, I am sorry for those who can´t contain themselves and HAVE to ask (some bordering on pestering) creators to frakkin share their work. Damn you, entitlement mentality!!!
