Very cool ! Coincidentally I was just reading about that make-up in the Stan Winston Studio book, a great source of reference for the penguin character.
Yeah, Stan was a friend of mine and I have that book, I just packed it for a move from my dorm LITERALLY like two nights before I started this thing...
You knew Stan! That would have been cool, I picked up the book also it's a ery good read I just love the stuff he did. He will be miss in the Biz I hope his studio can continue with the great work he instilled in them.
Oh they will. It was such a close knit family over there and I trust that John and Shane and the crew will keep it up!
I never realized the appliance had so much detail. Always thought it was smoother. But looking great. You gonna do the hands too?
I was REALLY giving a LOT of thought to doing the hands. It would require new lifecasts of my hands as cores, sculpting hands which I haven't done before, and then a two piece mold which is like, the bane of my existence... BUT, depending on how these noses do and if I get enough off of them for the materials I may do hands.

Hah, thanks! I scrapped this (was the second attempt too...) As I'm getting a DeVito lifecast soon to do a more displayable/accurate version. Doing Nicholson's Joker first

I have a nicholson lifecast taken from his casting for the '89 batman to do a correct/accurate 6 piece joker smile prosthetic. It SHOULD be in the mail soon so I can get started. I haven't decided if I'm going to do it in foam, gelatin (probably), or silicone. The same source is going to get me an actual devito cast (from the casting made for Returns) to re do the penguin more accurately as well. Would love to do flippers for it too. Is there really a lot of interest? I could bump Joker up my list when the cast gets here...?
Still behind on my "The Mask!" mask and swamped with writing projects and producing gigs. Will do my best.
