    May 25, 2012 - Arnold Terminator Stage 5 Lifesize Bust #1

HI everyone, finally finished this one up. Everything on this is sculpted except for the face, which was a plaster lifecast and the M79 grenade launcher shells. Its completely sculpted out of paper mache and although the body is hollow it is extremely heavy. Probably 50- 65 pounds. One of the glass eyes is off but its the damaged area so Ill just tell everyone its from the damage around the eye that makes it droop. The face is painted in oils. Hope you all like it. Thanks for looking.

I can't believe it's sculpted from paper mache, I'm blown away. I loved the way you painted the hair too. Gives it more a 3 dimensional look.

Thanks fellas, the kids gave me some time to finish this finally. The hair detail was done in epoxy putty a was the eyelids and the endo .details. The rest is all mache, and heavy heavy. Thanks for the comments. I always look forward to seeing what you guys think.

    Hello
I have some question because im new in learning build a replica!
    Please help me
    - how is it possible to intergate a glass-eye into the resin version of Arnold stage 5 ->
wirhout destroying the area around the human eyeside i dont know if im able
to repair an eyebrow or something else..
Is there an other way than glass without reducing grade of realism?
Sorry for bad english - im german ^^
    Greatz to @

Hi, that was a plaster life cast. I drilled out the entire eye socket, placed the eyes, then resculpted the eye lids. You can always paint the eyes instead of inserting glass eyes. Its difficult to paint real looking eyes but it can be done.
