measures 3 inches wide and 2 inches tall made of ackrilic. this is the way i am going to make the eyes for my ackbar.

here is the me wearing the head testing it out the inner head band and the paint job is about 80% complete. the head is sitting alittle to high.

stay tuned for the finished paint and eyes....

Just saw this... great work so far! Nice organic, fleshy sculpt and captured the character nicely too.

alittle bit of progress, got the eyelid molds done and sculpting the eyeballs now, and i have started on the hands, hope to have those next week or so.


the eyes are just barely glued in so they are not even or in the exact spot they need to be.

Looks great! If you don't mind me asking, how are you supporting the extra head space? I would think that the ecoflex would sag around the back of the head and such where the head cast wouldn't be.

i rotocasted resin in the top and back of the head and used a foam bike helmet so it could be worn.

yep, fighting with movie accurate eyes, once that is figured out, which i am close we will have a finished mask. i am sculpting the hands now.

here are the hands.......i had real trouble trying to find shots of the palm of the hands and the display hands were in bad shape so it was hard to tell what was damage and what was part of the sculpt.

and here are the eyes, still need paint and everything but they are pretty and the are crystal clear!!!! these are the accurate size.
