Well since everyone else has done at least one of these Jokers I thought I'd throw my own hat into the ring and approach the character with a newer look... The "Lets put a smile on that FaceSsSSSSA" Or "Hit Me!!!" sequences

Stay tuned for updates very soon

Wow man this looks awesome, which does not surprise me at all coming from you man. It seems like your stuff is getting better with every sculpt you do.
It definitely looks like ledger and right in mid action too, simply amazing.

Incredible! I love seeing dynamic sculpts like this. And I have a feeling that they're more difficult to do than a more "neutral" face sculpt, so all the more impressive. Can't wait to see how it develops.

I must ask you. What do you use as a base when sculpting heads? I mean, just a mannequin head or what?

I don't see Heath in their at all yet at this early stage myself

I think you should work more on the likeness of Heath before putting in the scar details

I think because of this people will see the Joker in it more than Heath, when if this is going to be as good as your other work recently you should be seeing Heath more ?? hope you get what I mean

great start though and nice to see a different look to him

Should have gone to spec savers lol

You call that even constructive??? I call it POLITICS as we all know who your the biggest fan of (checking your previous posts) and isn't it funny you've never posted in any of my threads before yet you seem to be comparing this with my other work already.... Its also insulting to the other people who have given their opinions on this to say the scares are making them think this the joker not the likeness itself.

I knew creating this would cause a few eruptions for the wrong reasons.

With all due respect - and, acknowledging that I don't know anything about the "politics" in the sculpting community - I think suckface's comment seemed to be fairly constructive. He said specifically what he thought needed to be improved, without being too negative about it. And he seemed to respect your other work, since he was holding it as a high benchmark.

I don't necessarily agree with his criticism - I certainly do see Heath's likeness in there - but there's no need to jump down the guy's throat, is there?

Looks AWESOME! I really love that your doing a different look and facial structure! Definitely giving the piece more character, direction, and energy than I've seen done before.

@chucky, I'm assuming they're teeth pressed into the clay, much like the eye forms. They're a different color and shade than the rest of the clay and I know that using pre-made teeth and eye holders is common practice.

Here we go Frosty homing in on the negatives...

You guys don't seem to understand the underlying issues and politics that go on in here... I know who suckface is mates with... that doesn't mean hes being influenced in his opinion but I know with my experience of prop forums that people tend to side with their friends and favourites and have a dig at what they see to be the opposition to try and derail and start fights... it won't of course work with me... It just makes me even more determined to make my work perfect

Politics ??? whatever you like mate

I'm a fan of the film and love the character thats why I've commented, It is nice to see a different take on him as I said

I think you have a problem with any one making any sort of comment about your work unless it's positive so you can bend what I've said all you like theirs no hidden agenda here

I have not insulted anyone, thats my opinion from looking at the pictures and I feel that the likeness isn't quiet their yet so if it was me, I'd work on that before adding scar details

It's quiet obvious that anything other than praise mentioned regarding your work sets you off on a retaliation mission against someone for having an opinion, yet looking at your posts you like to give yours, so maybe except a little back now and then without making it personal

all that said I'm looking forward to see how this progresses as I'm sure it will be a great bust
