I am very happy that Warehouse 13 has finally started new shows. The
premier tonight was a bit confusing in parts but, the old chemistry still
works. I am looking forward to a great season.

I donno. I just finished the season premiere... I'm wondering if maybe we should have left it at three seasons...
There were very few parts where I thought the "old chemistry" was back. I loved Claudia in previous seasons, but this episode she just grated on my nerves for some reason (it was worse than that Video Game episode from last season). Even Myka seemed out of sorts. I didn't think it was one of Pete's better episodes, but it wasn't his worst either (though Pete's "death" scene was VERY well done - exactly how I expected Pete to go out). Artie was the only one that seemed "on track" - and even then it wasn't his best episode.
What I really want, what I'm hoping for, is just a return to Pete, Myka, and Artie (and Claudia... assuming she drops the sullen thing...). I'm willing to chalk it up to "They were getting over the death and destruction" and give the episode a pass - hopefully the next episodes will be better.
Given the commercials, it looks like there is reason for hope.
I have been waiting months for this, and while watching it I could not help but see Fonzie getting on his bike and heading up the ramp!...![]()
I thought the first episode was pretty good. It just seemed like the writers were hell bent on wrapping up the previous seasons loose ends in the first episode so there really wasnt much time for the usual chemistry....But it was still there in some parts.
Anybody see the new Webisodes "Grand Designs"?
Another 2D adventure (and Prius ad)
The chemistry may have been deliberately lacking, as was Claudia's attitude. After allSpoiler:
The new opening credits have got me wondering what that Ferris Wheel is doing in the warehouse.
The new opening credits have me wondering why Claudia looks like she's pulling a wedgie out of her pants.
Missed the premiere on Monday so I stayed up and watched it at 4am this morning. I liked it!
Episode 2: Better than the first episode (pretty much all around). Loved that "Team Pete and Myka" are back (and back to 'normal'). I guess my only complaint, again, was too much 'Plot B' and not enough Pete and Myka hunting artifacts.
Love that a certain someone is back (A) - they were great last season. A return appearance of someone I wish wasn't back (B), and guest starring someone I used to like, and hopefully this will restore my respect for them (C). So far, avoiding the appearance of someone I'm GLAD isn't back - yet (D).
Spoiler:
Was the Ferris Wheel missing tonight? Could of swore I saw Don Qixote's windmill instead. Anyhow it was a great episode tonight, it was much better then the season premier. Now, odd question, the diner used in the the one scene am I crazy or was that the diner Rocco shut up the goodfellas in in Boondock Saints?
There is now a triangular pool in that spot.
Can't stand B.S. wish they had used someone else. don't care for K.M. either.
This week's episode was fantastic! Everybody was in top form. Give me more like this!!!
I enjoyed it as well.
Looks like each episode will have something different in the opening credits.
This weeks has Dinosaur Skeletons.
This weeks episode had a bunch of dinosaur skeletons.
There might be a contest on the Warehouse 13 website involving the objects in the opening credits.
During season 2 (or was it 3?) they had a contest involving zodiac signs. Each episode had an object relating to a zodiac sign. At the end of the season you would list down each sign in corrolation to the episode and get a chance to win some Warehouse 13 stuff.
Okay, I'm getting DANGEROUSLY excited about the new season!
This week's episode was FANTASTIC! My ONLY gripe (because I have to find at least one) is that it seems like they're trying to make Pete and Myka less "spotlight" and give everybody an equal part. It's a fairly minor gripe, but I'm worried about the cast getting "too big" - which is EXACTLY what doomed Eureka.
Overall, though, a top-notch episode!
Ugh... they've finally done it. I really didn't think it was possible, but they did it.
They made me actually WANT Pete and Myka get together. From the beginning, I only wanted them to be "brother and sister" - then the producers said that Pete and Myka wouldn't be getting together. This week's episode? It SO needs to happen!
This week was a little on the goofy side, but that's okay. Pete really walked the line between "goofy" and "annoying" - and he may have lightly stepped over in a couple places, but overall it wasn't bad.
Overall? Another FANTASTIC episode!
(Oh, and Claudia never looked more attractive than she did in this episode - and her side story was pretty sweet as well...)
How hard is it for Artie to explain to Spiners character that if he didn't use the thing, that the world would have basically ended? His explanation was only 'i had no choice'. Kind of reminds of watching Lost. Just SAY the actual reason you did it. Don't half-ass it and don't beat around the bush. Just say "If I didn't do it, humans would have vanished forever". Spell it out.
If I remember correctly, there's a reason he can't say - something about his personal evil becoming the world's problem or something similar.
I thought it was really sweet to see Pete being all broody (I can relate) and, to me, it really cemented their relationship as big-brother/little-sister.
Artie definitely cannot say what happened to Spiner's character - release of the big evil and all that, although I think the trailer showing next week's villain may explain his visions.
Nice touch seeing the birth of an artefact, and a sweet moment between Mrs F and Claudia. Meanwhile, I'm glad Jinx told Artie about the downside of the metronome.
Edit: Interesting sidebar... I originally typed "artifact" and my spell check told me it was "artefact", now I see the former is the US spelling and I probably typed hat first because I'd seen it spelled that way on the show. (Maybe we could compromise and call them ARTIEfacts?)
WTF SyFy??????
I REALLY HATE these split seasons!!!! Almost as much as I hate H.G. Wells!!
AAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought they established in the first or second episode that artifacts can't be destroyed? They took an axe to that wingback chair in the Psychiatrists office? And nothing? They tried to burn it? Nothing?
Now they are smashing metrenomes, cutting cords, burning artifacts in warehouse fires? smashing artifacts when they fall off of shelves?
If artifacts CAN be destroyed, what is the purpose of storing them in a warehouse and not getting rid of them?
But I do enjoy the show, and I am very glad that they pulled back a little on the Claudia portion. I think she is outstanding but she was stepping on Pete's gig a bit getting ALL of the good lines it seemed.
