I am hoping that it will be. I know I am sooooo looking forward to this series!
That would be an improvement over most of these but how good is a tv friendly zombie show going to be though?
I agree. AMC has done a decent job with Mad Men, and I think they can pull this off based upon the pictures and trailer that they have released.
Trailer looks good to me, and not all that family friendly...

Plenty of non-family friendly stuff on TV these days - nudity and violence like never before on regular TV.
Still it can't be accurate because it is in color!
I can't believe they went color... it makes me not want to see it. I am going to adjust my TV and make it back and white when i watch every episode!!!

They are making it as accurate as possible. Lots of folks including Robert Kirkman and putting in a lot of time to make it great - and it will be.

I got the new Rue Morgue, but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I've been following the comic for six years or more... I have high hopes. I am a zombie film lover.
With Frank Darabont and KNB EFX working on it, I'm thinking this is gonna be pretty amazing. Been following it for a while (long time reader of the comic) and it looks to be shaping up very nicely.
I gotta say that this looks pretty good.The color is a very good touch. TV and movie can never get the comics to be 100% true to the material but if they stick to the job they're doing here.I'll watch it
