Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I'm kind of confused on whats cannon and whats not with all the sequels.

Wait a minute...I thought Dolph got chopped into tiny pieces in the first one...

Dolph's been back for one before this too I think. I'm not sure if any of them are cannon or not. They should work the Unisol program into Expendables 3 since you already have 2 of the actors there lol.

So wait....... now JCVD is a badguy? i thought Devereaux was the good guy?

Well I guess the sequels Universal Soldier II: Brothers in Arms and Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business aren't canon but Universal Soldier: Regeneration is a direct sequel to the original.

It's my understanding (as I haven't actually watched the movie) that they brought Lundgren back for Universal Soldier 3 by cloning his character from 1.

who the hell keeps funding these movies?? Universal Soldier is turing into the Friday the 13th film series....and it JUST WON'T DIE!!!

As long as they put some realistic MMA action like they did on the last one...it'll be worth my Amazon Prime subscription.

FYI, this was shot ultra low budget style in Louisiana so expect it to be more a Sci-Fi movie of the week than a theatrical.
